Granger Haugh - CEO
Granger Haugh founded Cliniqa Corporation (formerly International Enzymes) in 1974. Under his leadership CLINIQA has grown to become an important global player in the IVD market for controls and calibrators. In his early career, Granger was a Navy Pilot for eleven years. He has held the positions of Sales Manager for J.T. Baker Chemicals, and Regional Sales Manager for Beckman Instruments Microbics Operation. Granger served as a Director and Chairman of the Community National Bank, as a Director of the Palomar Community College Foundation, and as a Director of the San Diego World Trade Center.
Kevin Gould - President
Kevin Gould brings over 15 years
of senior management experience to CLINIQA principally in medical diagnostics
manufacturing. Prior to joining CLINIQA he held senior level positions including
Vice President, SeraCare BBI Diagnostics business unit of SeraCare Life
Sciences, Inc. and Vice President, Sales & Marketing for Medical Analysis
Systems Inc., now part of Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. Additional positions were held with Biopool
International, now part of Trinity Biotech PLC, and Curtin Matheson Scientific
Inc., now Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc.
Dean Harriman - Chief Financial Officer
Dean
Harriman has been the Chief Financial Officer of CLINIQA since August of 1995. Dean brings more than 20 years of financial
experience as both the Chief Financial Officer of numerous companies
and as a C.P.A acting as Senior Audit Manager for a Big 5 international
accounting firm. Prior to joining CLINIQA, Dean acted as Vice President
of Finance and Chief Financial Officer for Vista Environment
Information Solutions. Dean is a graduate from San Diego State
University with a BS degree in Accounting.
Shing Kwan - Vice President of Manufacturing and Technical Operations Shing Kwan joined CLINIQA in
2007 as Vice President of Manufacturing and Technical Operations. Prior to joining CLINIQA he held various
senior management positions within the medical diagnostics manufacturing
industry. Prior positions include Vice
President of Special Products, Microgenics Corporation, and Vice President of
Research and Development, Medical Analysis Systems Inc., both now part of
Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. Additional
positions were held with Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc. in the areas of research
and development, marketing, and manufacturing operations. Prior to that he was Technical Director at
Biopool International, now part of Trinity Biotech PLC.
Larry Beaty - Vice President of Research & Development
Larry
joined CLINIQA in 1993 and has led the development group in
bringing a series of liquid stable controls and calibrators to market.
His career includes 18 years as Vice President and Director of Research &
Development at American Monitor Corporation where he developed reagent systems for three
generations of automated clinical chemistry analyzers, for testing of
municipal and industrial water systems, and immunoassays of serum
proteins. As Vice President of Vanguard Systems he developed an OEM
colorimetric microtiter based assay system for "non-A, non-B
hepatitis". Larry was also the Chairman and Director of Research & Development of
Zical. Mr. Beaty completed undergraduate studies in chemistry,
microbiology and psychology; and graduate studies in biochemistry and
genetics.
Bruce Thompson - Vice President of Marketing/U.S. Sales Bruce Thompson began his career with Proctor & Gamble. Subsequently, he has worked at American Hospital Supply, now part of Cardinal Health Inc.; Boehringer Mannheim Corporation now Roche Diagnostics Corporation; and Medical Analysis
Systems Inc., now part of Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., in various sales and marketing positions including Product Manager, Marketing Manager, Director of Sales and Vice President, Sales and Marketing, before joining CLINIQA in 2006. Barry Rhodes - Vice President of International Sales Barry Rhodes, based in the United Kingdom, joined CLINIQA in 2003. His prime responsibilities are for International Sales and business development of the CLINIQA product line. Barry has over 25 years experience within clinical diagnostics and has held various senior management positions including Vice President of International Sales for Medical Analysis
Systems Inc., now part of Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc.; Northern European Diagnostics Manager for Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc.; and Instrument Division Manager for Diagnostic Products Corporation, now Siemens, Medical Solutions Diagnostics. He also held senior management positions with American Monitor Corporation both in Europe and the United States. He began his sales career with Boehringer Mannheim Corporation, now Roche Diagnostics Corporation in the UK.
Laura Henderson - Director of Human Resources
Laura Henderson has 9 years of experience in Human Resources. Laura joined CLINIQA in February of 2006. Prior to CLINIQA Laura was the Human Resources Director at Delkin Devices and a Human Resources Representative with Vons Grocery. Laura holds a bachelors degree from Cal State San Marcos and a Masters degree from the University of San Diego.
